Packaging is a very important marketing strategy to glamorize your product in order to attract the consumer’s attention. Sometimes packaging is so important that it cost more than the product itself in order to lure the consumers to buy it. Packaging should definitely be included in the 4 major P’s of marketing (product, place, promotion and price).
Having attractive packaging doesn’t mean you should neglect quality either. In fact, you need to make high quality products in order to have repeated sales. Converting first time buyers into loyal customers should be the main goal of your business and packaging is the door to it.

Packaging is the key to health, safety, convenience and more when it comes to the storage and shipping of foods, medicines, other consumer products and the same goes for the industrial sector. We take it for granted, but without proper packaging, our lives would be very different. We can always revisit and try to do things better, easier, in a more environmentally responsible way, and we should do that. It's always a work in progress to do things better. I love packaging!
