I just did an interview with the LA times for their small business section for a CA based company. I’ll let the name be a surprise. Let’s just say they have something to do with “green” packaging. Be on the lookout for this article.

In response to this headline :”Universal Music overhauls CD packaging in bid to boost European market sales” Marketplace, the public radio business show asked my opinion about the repackaging of CD’s to increase lost marketshare do to the downloading of
music.
Unfortunately they didn’t get to use the segment but I was surprised to read that Dave Kusek had this to say about the packaging.
“DAVE KUSEK: Packaging is not the issue. It’s value and convenience is the issue. It’s part of a continued denial that the music industry has a problem.” So ..
